Professional footballer for Brighton & Hove Albion FC
East Sussex
Kerry Mayo was a defensive midfielder and defender who signed a professional contract Brighton & Hove Albion FC in July 1996. He played 413 games for the club, becoming one of its longest-serving players. During that time, Mayo scored 14 goals and was involved in 3 promotions including 2 title winning championships.
Sadly, Mayo announced his retirement from professional football after failing to recover from a groin/hip injury in 2009.
Since Kerry’s retirement from professional football, he has spent the last 8 years forging a new career in Business Telecoms.
Kerry’s attitude to business, friendly personality and passion to support good causes are the reason why we are honoured to be partnered with Kerry and welcome him to become the Ambassador for Care for Veterans
